Joe Warren Looks To Defend His Belt Against Marcos Galvao At Bellator 135

Bellator 135 is scheduled for this Friday night at the Winstar Casino in Thackerville, Okla. with a main card that will air on Spike TV. The main event features a bantamweight belt defense for titleholder Joe Warren as he faces the challenge of Marcos Galvao.  The lines are not up at the sportsbooks yet, but as the fights approach the main card will get lines posted. The full fight card features 11 fights, and the preliminary matches can be seen on the Spike TV website, though it is unlikely odds on the full card will be posted.

Galvao is facing Warren for the second time, as he took a loss to the wrestler  back in April of 2011.  This time around, he is facing a Warren who is much more conditioned and trained for an MMA fight, but with four years more wear and tear, Warren is now 37.  Warren puts so much energy into his fighting, Gavlao’s best bet may be to try and survive and extend the match intot he later periods, where Warren gets more and more sloppy as he puts out energy.

The co-main event features UFC veteran Francis Carmont taking on Guilherme Viana in a match between two guys making their Bellator debuts.  Also on the main card is Ryan Couture, the son of former UFC Champion Randy Couture, as he takes on veteran Dakota Cochrane.  The rest of the card features eight more fights,  and Bellator 136 follows on April 10.
