Bellator 135 Odds: Warren Favored In Title Defense Over Galvao

The Bellator 135 card scheduled for Friday night in Thackerville, Okla. now has odds up for four of the main card fights.  The main event sees bantamweight champion Joe Warren make a title defense against Marcos Galvao.

The bout is a re-match of a 2011 meeting that saw Warren win a unanimous decision over three rounds.  This time, both fighters have really evolved to a new level, however the 3.5 rounds on the over may be worth a look, as Warren is hard to kill but has trouble stopping people himself.  As evidence, his last two bouts have gone the full 25-minute, five-round distance. While Warren has won those fights and they have been very entertaining, he does appear to tire and get sloppy in the later rounds.

As for Galvao, he comes in on a bit of a roll, having one three in a row.  Prior to that, he took a loss to former champion Eduardo Dantas in a failed title bid.  Overall with Bellator he is now (7-3) but he started out (1-2) and he has become a solid performer for them.  What is at play here is can he handle the pressure that Warren brings while not getting too tired himself.  With Warren at 38 years old now his ability to sustain the type of fight he likes to wage will slack of a bit, and galvao is hoping he is there to catch him when it does.

Four of the fights have lines and over/under odds up at the books, check out our latest video blog where our MMA expert Miguel Iturrate reviews where the numbers came in.
