Minnesota Vikings vs. Chicago Bears Betting Preview

Minnesota is the road underdog in this NFC game and is currently being given 3 points. The Vikings are also receiving +130 moneyline odds while the Bears are -150. Oddsmakers have set the over/under (O/U) at 46 points, and if one side catches a lucky break early, it’ll probably create a decent betting opportunity in-game.

The game’s total has swung up after initially being set at 45.5. The opening spread hasn’t budged.

Chicago just earned a 34-22 win over Detroit a week ago. Mitchell Trubisky completed 23-of-30 passes for 355 yards and three touchdowns. Jordan Howard (21 rushing yards on 11 attempts) mounted the running game as Cohen (six receptions, 29 yards) and Allen Robinson II (six catches, 133 yards, two TDs) led the pass-catching attack in the win.

Minnesota has run the ball on 35.2 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Chicago has a rush percentage of 46.6 percent. The Vikings have run for 92 yards/game (including 98 per game versus North opponents) and have six scores on the ground this year. The Bears are putting up 120 rush yards per game (97 in conference) and have 10 total rushing TDs.

The Vikes offense has averaged 298 yards in the air overall (295 per game versus conference opposition) and has 17 passing TDs so far. The Bears have put up 256 pass yards per contest (263.0 against NFC foes) and have 19 total pass scores.

Anthony Miller (283 receiving yards, four receiving touchdowns on the year), Allen Robinson II (418 receiving yards, four receiving TDs) and Jordan Howard (413 rush yards, three rush TDs) have combined for 392 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns over the past two games.
