NCAAF Picks: Undefeated Auburn hosts LSU Saturday night

NCAAF Picks:  The LSU Tigers were all business last week with a 63-7 home payout and massacre of New Mexico State after their shocking loss to Mississippi State which served as a wakeup call for their prospects in the SEC West Division.  The undefeated Auburn Tigers are starting to see their betting value drop as the public is becoming too enamored with them as a team and opposing defenses look like they are catching on to head coach Gus Malzahn’s zone read offense.

The Auburn Tigers will host the LSU Tigers at Jordan Hare Stadium on Saturday night with coverage on ESPN starting at 7 PM ET.  Auburn is listed as a 7.5-point favorite.  BetDSI has the latest up to the minute NCAAF odds.

Aubie Sees Price Increase

Auburn is 4-0 straight up, 2-2 against the spread, and 3-1 over the total.  The Tigers rank 15th in the nation for scoring offense and 15th for scoring defense.  Auburn is coming off a 45-17 home win over Louisiana Tech but failed to cover as 32.5 home chalks.

Hat Trick for Aubie?

LSU head coach Les “Mad Hatter” Miles is known for trick play surprises in big games and this matchup at Auburn would be the perfect spot for some more trickeration.  LSU is 4-1 both SU and ATS with a 3-2 mark over the total.  LSU ranks 20th in the nation for scoring offense and sixth for scoring defense.

Matchup and Pick
LSU has struggled to maintain board value on the road as of late with just four payouts in their last 10 away games as just seven out of their last 20 road games have gone over the total.  Auburn on the other hand has been a strong betting value at home with 11 payouts in their last 14 home games with nine out of their last 14 home games going over the total.

Auburn has covered the spread in six out of their last nine games against LSU with four out of the last seven meetings between Auburn and LSU going over the total.  Auburn is 5-2 against the spread at home against LSU with six out of the last seven meetings in this head to head series at Auburn going under the total.  We’ll call for Auburn (-7.5) and under the total in this SEC matchup of Tigers.
