According to ESPN, the 2003 NBA draft class has collectively won 27 championships, the most of any draft class since 2003. LeBron James is listed as the only player from that class still active.
LeBron James, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade — the No. 1, No. 4 and No. 5 picks in 2003, respectively — reunited with the Miami Heat and helped lead the team to back-to-back championships in 2012-13. That four-year stint included four straight trips to the NBA Finals, per the report.
The class produced multiple multi-championship contributors: LeBron (4), James Jones (3) and Dwyane Wade (3). Several members are credited with two titles apiece, including Matt Bonner, Chris Bosh, Zaza Pachulia, Luke Walton and David West, while a number of other draftees have one championship each.
No other draft class approaches the 27-title total. The compilation lists the 2004 class with 16 championships, the 2009 class with 15 and the 2011 class with 14.
Other noted totals include the 2007 class with 13 championships; the 2006 and 2008 classes with 12 each; the 2017 class with 11; and both the 2012 and 2018 classes credited with 10 championships, according to the same list.
