2018 March Madness: Odds To Win For Every Single Team

Villanova

The regular season and conference tournaments are over, the Selection Committee has done their job and now the field is set. Now that we know all of the teams involved in March Madness, BetDSI Sportsbook has posted odds on every single team to win the tournament.

It’s interesting to note that Virginia is the overall No. 1 seed in March Madness but you won’t find them until third down the list. Villanova, who is also a No. 1 seed, and Duke, who is a No. 2 seed, have slightly shorter odds than the Cavaliers. The Cavs don’t have a rich history of Final Fours like the Blue Devils and Wildcats, so that’s likely why they’re a small step behind. There are a total of five teams inside of 10/1 with Michigan State and Michigan being the other two.

Kansas and Xavier are the other two No. 1 seeds but the oddsmakers seem to disagree with the Selection Committee on those sides. Kansas is all the way down to eighth on the list. They have won eight of nine entering March Madness. As for the Musketeers, they are getting even less respect as they are 10th at 22/1.

In terms of the long shots, there are a whole slew of teams tied with odds of +100000. That includes Buffalo, Texas Southern, Radford, Iona, UMBC, LIU Brooklyn, NC Central, UNC Greensboro, Lipscomb, CS Fullerton, Bucknell,
Georgia State, Murray State, Marshall and the College of Charleston. Any of these teams would be happy with a win or two, which is why they’re not likely to have the stamina or moxie to win the entire NCAA Tournament.

All of the madness gets underway on Tuesday with the eight teams playing in the First Four.
