2018 Survivor Episode 13 Odds – The Hammock Plan

Survivor

Lavita, Night 32 and seven contestants are still left on Survivor. Kellyn talks about one of her alliance members who had gone home and she wants to talk about who will work with her. She talks about how Wendell and Domenick want her out. She talks about stirring up ‘something’ tomorrow.

It’s Day 33 at Lavita and Donathan and Laurel are chatting and Donathan is concerned about playing it too safe. Laurel agrees that she could’ve taken a shot at Wendell last week, but she failed. She said that she knows she can’t beat them at the end. Kellyn talks to Donathan about how Donathan, Laurel, Angela and Kellyn can take out Wendell. Donathan said he feels like he is being underestimated and he doesn’t want that to happen anymore.

Come on in guys!

It’s the Survivor reward challenge time where they will be divided into three teams of two. They will drop a wooden spool, catch it and put it back, adding additional spools along the way. If any drop they are out. They are playing to be ambassadors delivering supplies to local school children and have fried chicken and chocolate cake. One person sits out with no shot of anything. Teams are Kellyn/Sebastian; Wendell/Domenick, Donathan/Laurel. Is anyone surprised? After a first round, they have 15 seconds to drop the third spool. Wow, this is interesting. Everyone is starting to get tired and is breathing heavy. Fifteen seconds to add a fourth spool! Donathan barely catches the spool!

Everything is getting close and you can feel the tension. Fifteen seconds left before a fifth and final spool is added. Sebastian/Kellyn are out first. Laurel can’t beat the spool down and that leaves Domenick and Wendell to win reward. They pick Laurel to go with them. Who are they sending to Ghost Island? They are sending Sebastian.

It’s Ghost Island time, Day 33. Game on for Sebastian. The odds have improved. Three hold a power and one does not. Sebastian plays and he gets a key. He opens the box and it says “Congratulations, you have won an advantage in the game.” It’s an authentic steal a vote advantage that sent Michaela home in Survivor’s 34th season and was misplayed by Kellyn this season. It doesn’t hold the power to steal a vote, but you can use it as a secret extra vote. Will you be the one to finally reverse the curse?”

We see Wendell, Laurel, and Domenick on the boat to deliver the supplies and the kids are cheering for them. What an awesome experience! Laurel talks about how she’s going to the end with them, but tells the camera, “I love them, but I’m here to slit their throats. The game comes first.”

Donathan talks to Wendell and tells him that he’s voting for Domenick if it’s the two of them up at the end. Donathan tells them both he can’t beat them, so Domenick senses that he’s going to go rogue and go against them. Donathan is putting himself right in the fire. Why give out your game moves so easily? Stupid move.

Come on in guys!

It’s Survivor immunity challenge time. The contestants will race to retrieve planks, build a bridge, cross it, built a tower and climb it. Once they reach the top, it’s slide puzzle time. While building the bridge, Kellyn takes a big fall. Wendell and Sebastian are tied for the lead and Laurel and Domenick are catching up. Wendell finishes first and heads to the tower. Domenick and Laurel head over and try to get back in it. Kellyn finally comes to the ladder part. Wendell is moving on to the third and final puzzle section, while Angela and Donathan can’t even figure out their bridge.

Donathan finally finishes the bridge. Laurel finishes the ladder and gets to the puzzle. Jeff tells Laurel it’s the same puzzle from Day One. Donathan and Kellyn finally finish their ladder and head to the puzzle, while Angela still can’t get the bridge! Wendell finishes but doesn’t call out right away. He put his arms out and  Jeff says that he thought Wendell was second-guessing. The rules state that he has to call out Jeff’s name. Laurel wins it. Wendell knows he screwed up by not calling out Jeff’s name.

Laurel talks about getting Wendell out but says it doesn’t feel right to send him home. She says it’s the smart move to go with her allies than to go against them right now and she wants to send Kellyn home. Donathan seems to be freaking out and is imploding on himself. “If you’re going to blindside me, let me know,” Donathan says. Donathan sees Domenick be sneaky and hand something to Wendell and he questions it. Domenick says that it was something he was holding on to for Wendell. Donathan questions the plan and Domenic reassures him. Donathan is paranoid right now. He’s trying to cause controversy, but it’s his fear that pulling him in that direction. Wendell talks about how Donathan isn’t right by going to talk to the person they are trying to get out.

At tribal council, they bring up what Domenick gave Wendell and how paranoid Donathan is being. Domenick asks to talk to Donathan and he says ‘no.’ Domenick starts whispering to everybody but Donathan to “stay with the hammock plan.” Donathan says, “I don’t know what the hammock plan is.” Domenick says, “That’s because we’re done talking, remember? Oh, Donathan.
