Best College Football Games To Bet On This Thanksgiving and Friday

The Horned Frogs have to take care of business in Texas on Friday night.

Thanksgiving week also coincides with Week 14 of the college football season, and that means a handful of match-ups with key implications. It also means that rivalry week is upon us. It’s going to be a wild one with plenty of important games before the main course on Saturday. We’ve rounded up the four best games to bet on for this Thursday and Friday.

#5 TCU Horned Frogs @ Texas Longhorns

Thursday, 7:30 PM ET

All eyes will be on TCU this Thursday as they look to knock off Texas and keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. The Horned Frogs have had an extra week to prepare for this game following their bye and based on a close win over Kansas they needed it. That said, Trevone Boykin and the second-highest scoring offense in the FBS should have no problem figuring out the Longhorns defense. Texas has looked good over the course of three straight wins, but they don’t have the firepower to keep up with a TCU that has to do more than just win to have a shot at getting in with another chance to make a statement on the road. Pick: TCU[divider]Arkansas Razorbacks @ #20 Missouri Tigers

Saturday, 2:30 PM ET

Arkansas has just two SEC wins this season but the fact that they came in each of their last two games by a combined 47-0 score against a pair of ranked opponents in LSU and Ole Miss means they are a very dangerous threat on the road in Missouri this weekend. The Tigers won’t take them lightly though as they are served on a platter the opportunity to finish atop the SEC East without a single win over a top-10 team. The Razorbacks will keep it close, but don’t expect a third straight upset. Pick: Missouri[divider]Stanford Cardinal @ #9 UCLA Bruins

Friday, 3:30 PM ET

UCLA is coming off a monster win over USC last week that extended their win streak to five, and there isn’t any reason to expect Brett Hundley and company to slow down this week. Stanford is coming off a big win over California, but they have been exposed by top 25 teams this season. They’ve won six straight versus UCLA but it looks like that ends this season. The Bruins are clicking at the right time and should be able to punch their ticket to the PAC-12 title game with a win this week. Pick: UCLA[divider]#13 Arizona State Sun Devils @ #15 Arizona Wildcats

Friday, 3:30 PM ET

The lone clash of top-25 teams will feature a pair of in-state rivals as the Sun Devils visit the Wildcats on Friday afternoon. Arizona State beat Washington to keep its hopes of winning a division title alive, but that won’t matter if they can’t find a way to get the job done this week.

Arizona also has its sights set on the division, although this game won’t matter if UCLA beats Stanford. Look for the Sun Devils to pull out a close win on the road to get to 10 wins and at least make it look like they had a chance to get in to the Pac-12 title game. Pick: Arizona State
