Justin Tuck Roasts the Eagles and OBJ Sees Cleveland as Rejuvenating

Justin Tuck hasn’t played in the NFL since 2015, but he still likes to get his shots in. After seeing some Giants and Eagles fans jawing back and forth about their NFC East rivalry, Tuck stepped in with a ring check. Philadelphia fans have been very confident when it comes to their team’s chances in 2019, but the Eagles have fewer Super Bowl wins than any other team in the division.

Odell Beckham Jr. has not been shy about expressing his happiness in leaving the Big Apple. OBJ was traded to the Cleveland Browns back in March, and he has since taken shots at his former team in a number of ways. The most recent salvo came in a sit-down with Complex, where he stated that he wasn’t able to grow anymore and reach his full potential with the Giants. OBJ seemed to create a lot of his own problems with his decisions on and off the field, so we’ll see whether or not things change in Cleveland.

Drew Brees has been winning on the field for nearly two decades, and he carried that over to the courtroom on Friday. Brees was awarded over $6 million in damages by a jury after filing a lawsuit with a jeweler he had done a lot of business with in the past. An appraiser determined that the jeweler had sold $15 million worth of diamonds to Brees and his wife when they were really worth $8 million. The jeweler and his lawyer intend to appeal the decision.

Baker Mayfield is man of his word. He and Saquon Barkley had a preseason bet regarding who would be named Offensive Rookie of the Year, and Mayfield made good after Barkley was named OROY. Both players are looking to build off of successful rookie seasons and establish themselves as superstars in 2019.
