Obviously, we are big fans of the Milwaukee Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo here at Get More Sports. While I say ‘we’, I definitely just mean me. Although, it becomes harder not to like Antetokounmpo every time you read a story like this one.

Now, Wisconsin reporter Ti Windisch tells a story about Antetokounmpo that should end the week with a little bit of a smile for you. Surely, with all the sports stories of cheating and violence against the opponent ongoing; it’s good to remember at times like this that good things happen in sports too.

Therefore, let’s give you that tweet from Windisch.

Apparently, when Antetokounmpo was leaving the arena on Wednesday night; he saw a kid who mops the court in the tunnel. Then, Antetokounmpo asked the kid how old he was. Next, The Greek Freak tells the kid that when he was 16 or 17, he was mopping floors too. Finally, the superstar took a selfie with the kid and went off into the Milwaukee night.

Certainly, bigger feel good stories have happened this year and will before the season closes. However, it’s good to know that possibly the best player in the NBA currently averaging 30.5 a game on the heels of an NBA season still takes time to appreciate the smaller things; and people.

I suppose this is why even though I’m not a huge NBA fan, I still enjoy Antetokounmpo. Also, his windmill dunks and ability to shoot and play defense don’t hurt either.
