It will be a battle between SEC opponents when the Auburn Tigers (14-6, 3-4 SEC) welcome the Alabama Crimson Tide (13-7, 4-3 SEC) to Auburn Arena. The game starts at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday, February 2, 2019, and will air on ESPN2.

Alabama Crimson Tide vs. Auburn Tigers Betting Prediction

In the Crimson Tide’s last outing, they beat the No. 22 Mississippi State Bulldogs, 83-79. The Crimson Tide had an absurd free throw rate of 0.361 (above their season average of 0.278) and had a turnover percentage of 12.5 (better than their season average of 16.2). Alabama rallied around Donta Hall, who was the game’s high scorer with 19 points on 7-for-9 shooting.

The Tigers had no trouble getting past the Missouri Tigers in their last matchup, 92-58. The Tigers, meanwhile, rank 290th at grabbing defensive rebounds with a defensive rebounding percentage of 68.9 percent.

After the Crimson Tide won two out of three matchups against the Tigers last season, these teams will clash for the first time this year. In the last game, Alabama won 81-63. The Crimson Tide had a much better free throw rate (0.404 vs. 0.242) and had a much better effective field goal percentage (0.577 vs. 0.387).
