Ole Miss just got a 76-41 win over Southern Illinois. The defensive unit allowed the Salukis to pass for 388 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 241 yards. D.J. Davis had a good showing in the defeat, recording 121 rushing yards on 16 attempts for Southern Illinois. For Ole Miss, Jordan Ta’amu completed 23-of-33 passes for 448 yards and five touchdowns. Scottie Phillips (107 rushing yards on 15 attempts, two TDs) mounted the ground game in the win as A.J. Brown (eight receptions, 158 yards, two TDs) and D.K. Metcalf (seven catches, 93 yards, one TD) led the receiving attack.

Alabama has run the ball on 61 percent of its offensive possessions this year while Ole Miss has an overall rush percentage of 47.2 percent. The Crimson Tide have run for 250 yards/game and have four touchdowns via handoffs this year. The Rebels are putting up 189 rush yards per game and have six total rushing TDs.
