Arsenal are reportedly assessing 11 options to replace full back Ben White, with West Ham United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka among those under consideration, according to TEAMtalk. White suffered a knee ligament injury in May and could move abroad.
Other names linked to Arsenal’s right-back search include Real Madrid’s Raúl Asencio, Oscar Mingueza — who is a free agent after leaving Celta Vigo — RB Leipzig’s Lutsharel Geertruida and Newcastle United’s Tino Livramento, TEAMtalk reports.
Tottenham Hotspur continue to pursue attacking reinforcements. TalkSPORT reports Spurs are interested in Manchester City’s Savinho and Liverpool’s Cody Gakpo. Savinho, 22, has long been tracked by Spurs and City are reportedly prepared to let him leave for around £60 million, while any move for Gakpo could cost in excess of £70 million amid reports the Netherlands international is unhappy following the sacking of Arne Slot. TEAMtalk adds Tottenham have opened discussions over AC Milan winger Rafael Leão, with the Portugal international said to be receptive to a move to the Premier League; Saudi clubs and a number of European teams have also been approached.
Manchester United are said to want Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, with The Guardian reporting any transfer would be valued at £50 million. Talks have yet to take place, with United targeting two midfield signings this summer and having missed out on Elliot Anderson and Mateus Fernandes; AFC Bournemouth’s Alex Scott is also of interest. The Guardian states Santos is behind Moisés Caicedo and Enzo Fernández in Chelsea’s pecking order and that the 22-year-old is open to leaving as Chelsea look to raise funds to support new manager Xabi Alonso’s plans.
Newcastle United are tracking Germany and Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, according to Bild. The 25-year-old has attracted attention after strong displays and reportedly carries a €36.5 million release clause, though Stuttgart are said to be able to pay a €2 million fee to void it if a club is willing to offer more. Additional reported moves include Chelsea’s interest in Rayo Vallecano left back Pep Chavarria and Brentford agreeing terms to sign Burnley’s Jaidon Anthony, both reported by Fabrizio Romano.
