Arsenal have announced a parade to celebrate their Premier League title will take place on May 31, a day after their Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain. The club said the event will begin at 2 p.m. UK time and will be held in their home borough of Islington, though the exact route has not been released.
Supporters have been celebrating since Manchester City’s draw at Bournemouth sealed Arsenal’s first league crown in 22 years. Fans spontaneously gathered at the Emirates following the Vitality Stadium result and remained into the early hours, with some estimates putting the number around 100,000 that night.
Those who stayed until sunrise were visited by Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, Eberechi Eze and Jurriën Timber. Thousands more returned to the Emirates for celebrations surrounding Arsenal’s coronation at Selhurst Park, and jubilant scenes have continued across north London.
The club noted that a victory in Budapest would secure Arsenal’s first-ever Champions League title and would further amplify the celebrations. Nevertheless, Arsenal confirmed the May 31 parade will go ahead regardless of the result in Budapest.
Further logistical details, including the parade route, have yet to be published by the club. Supporters are expected to gather in Islington as plans are finalised for the official celebrations.
