The Atlanta Braves will be taking on their divisional rival Miami Marlins at Marlins Park. Fox SportsNet Florida will televise the matchup and the game is scheduled to get underway at 1:10 p.m. ET.

Atlanta Braves vs. Miami Marlins Odds

Miami (+170) is the home-team underdog against Atlanta (-180) and Vegas has set the Over/Under for this afternoon game at 7.5 runs. The odds for wagering on the game’s total stand at -105 for the under and -115 for the over. Bettors can also wager on the game’s runline with the current odds sitting at -125 for the Braves -1.5 runs and +105 for the Marlins +1.5 runs.

The Braves have gone 72-57 SU this year and are 66-61 against the spread (ATS). They’ve gained 19.5 units for moneyline bettors and 0.7 units ATS. The Marlins are sending Pablo Lopez (2-3, 4.42 ERA) to the mound. Lopez has 42 punchouts and 13 walks to his credit, as well as a WHIP of 1.19. Lopez is 0-1 with five strikeouts and an 8.44 ERA in one start against Atlanta this year.

As a unit, Miami’s pitching staff has given up 5.0 runs per game overall in 2018. Its starters have an ERA of 4.49, a WHIP of 1.32 and a strikeouts-per-nine of 7.7. Second baseman Starlin Castro and third baseman Brian Anderson have led the Marlins’ offense this year. Castro is hitting .285/.336/.401 with 10 home runs, 46 RBIs and 70 runs scored, and Anderson’s line sits at .279/.360/.405 with 10 homers, 56 RBIs and 70 runs.

For the visiting squad, Atlanta’s pitching staff allowed 4.0 runs per game and its starting pitchers own a 3.48 ERA, 1.22 WHIP and 8.61 K/9. The bullpen has an ERA of 4.12, along with a K-per-9 of 9.26.

The Braves offense has slashed .260/.326/.424 on its way to 4.7 runs scored per game in 2018, including 5.1 runs per game against divisional foes and 2.8 per game over the team’s last five outings (3-2 SU).

Atlanta’s offense has been powered by first baseman Freddie Freeman and right fielder Nick Markakis, who’ve collectively belted 34 home runs. Freeman is slashing .317/.400/.520 with 20 home runs, 78 RBIs and 80 runs scored. Markakis (.312/.374/.478) is up to 14 homers, 81 RBIs and 69 runs scored.
