He took three starts off to rest his ankle but it didn’t help as he has allowed 13 earned runs and 17 hits in 15.2 innings. Catcher Jonathan Lucroy said that Lohse has simply lost his feel for pitching right now. In his last three starts, Lohse is 1-2 with a 7.47 ERA. He has done pretty well against the Reds in his career with a 6-5 record and a 2.91 ERA.
