Best Teaser Pick for Week 11 – NFL Betting Odds

Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Week 10 belonged to the underdogs. Anybody that took the points on a parlay would have cashed in, not to mention those that hedged their bets even more by purchasing points with a teaser bet. Looking forward to Week 11, we took a look at which teams are in the best position to cover the spread and then added even more cushion by applying a seven-point tease to their lines for a winning ticket. Here is a look at the best teaser pick for Week 11 in the NFL.

Dallas Cowboys at Atlanta Falcons

Line: Atlanta -3.5

The Cowboys are coming off a massive 27-20 upset win over the Philadelphia Eagles to keep their season alive. Now they have to travel to Atlanta looking for just their second road win of the season to avoid falling back to two games below .500. Atlanta is dealing with a similar sense of urgency at 4-5. Even with a 3-2 record at home, the Falcons haven’t won a single home game by more than seven points this season. Teasing this line moves in favor of Dallas moves them to +10.5 on the road. With both teams playing for their respective seasons, this should be a tightly contested game that could go down to the wire. The Cowboys should cover the 10.5-point line.

Philadelphia Eagles at New Orleans Saints

Line: New Orleans -7.5

Sticking with teams playing for their seasons, the Eagles absolutely need an answer after falling to 4-5 with a loss to Dallas at home. Philadelphia has been stuck in neutral all season and it isn’t about to get any easier for them on the road against the Saints. The issue is that the Eagles secondary is decimated as Ronald Darby, Rodney McLeod and Sidney Jones are all out. Drew Brees and company should be licking their chops. Tease the Saints down to -0.5 as they should win and cover.

Oakland Raiders at Arizona Cardinals

Line: Arizona -3.5

One of the most surprising numbers heading in to Week 11 is the fact that the 2-7 Cardinals are actually 5-3-1 against the spread this season. Arizona has done a good job of keeping the majority of their losses close, and now they have an opportunity to actually win a game outright as a 3.5-point favorite against the 1-8 Raiders. The Cardinals will be favored in this contest at -3.5, but applying the seven-point tease moves them to +3.5.

Oakland has checked out for the season. They have scored nine points or less in three of their last four. And with rumors of veteran receiver Jordy Nelson retiring midweek, things clearly aren’t very good in the team’s locker room.

Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts

Line: Indianapolis -3

The final pick on our four-team, seven-point teaser is the Colts. Tennessee is coming off back-to-back wins over the Cowboys and Patriots to improve to 5-4. Now they travel to face the 4-5 Colts in another must-win game as they attempt to move into at least a share of the AFC South division lead.

Indy has won three straight and even though they are 4-5, they’ve played a pretty tough schedule this season. They’re on a roll and they’re at home. They’ll find a way to cool off the Titans, who are just 2-2 on the road. Tease the Colts to +4.
