Week 13 presented a number of close calls for us as we lost three of our four picks by either a half-point or just a single point. We’ll aim to close that narrow margin in our four-team teaser pick for Week 14:
New York Jets at Buffalo Bills
Line: Buffalo -3.5
The Bills nearly upset the Miami Dolphins on the final play of a 21-17 loss in Week 13. Now they return home with a chance to get back in the win column against one of the coldest teams in the NFL. The Jets have dropped six straight and they are just 4-8 against the spread this season. Meanwhile, Buffalo has dominated the recent series between these teams with a 7-3 record both straight up and against the spread. The Bills are currently listed at -3.5, but you could flip those odds to make them +3.5 with the addition of the seven-point tease. Buffalo should have no problem covering at +3.5 in a game they should win straight up at home.

Los Angeles Rams at Chicago Bears
Line: LA Rams -3
Chicago is a home underdog for just the second time this season. When you consider the Bears are coming off a loss to the New York Giants and could be without Mitchell Trubisky against one of the best teams in the NFL, it actually makes sense that they are listed at +4. The Rams are 11-1 straight up this season. LA has struggled to cover the spread with a 5-6-1 ATS record but they are only a three-point favorite this week and the teaser moves their line to a much more favorable +4. The Rams should be able to beat Chicago straight up. Take LA at +4 on this teaser ticket.
New York Giants at Washington Redskins
Line: Washington -1
The Giants have been on fire since the start of November with a 3-0-1 record against the spread. Now they head to Washington looking to shake up the NFC East even more with a chance to hurt the Redskins playoff hopes. Washington won the first meeting between these teams 20-13, but that was with a healthy Alex Smith. Now they have Chase Daniel under center and they will have to find a way against an improved New York side. The seven-point tease shifts the Giants from +1 to +8 on the road. This means we’ll cross a couple of key numbers in three and seven, which is always important in a teaser.
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys
Line: Dallas -4
The final pick on this four-team, seven-point teaser is Philadelphia. The Eagles are just 3-8 against the spread this season while Dallas is on fire with four straight wins. Those recent trends might actually work in favor of Philadelphia this week as the Cowboys are listed as a four-point favorite at home for this crucial NFC East showdown. While Dallas might very well win straight up, the Eagles should at least keep this game close in a must-win. The seven-point tease shifts Philadelphia from +4 to +11. The Eagles should be able to cover that number in a Week 14 showdown they could very well win outright.
