Best Teaser Pick for Week 15 – NFL Betting Odds

Tim Heitman-USA TODAY Sports

The clock is ticking with just three weeks left in the NFL regular season. While we still have a lot of action to look forward to come playoff time, it will be important to use these final three weeks to make some serious cash with some strong NFL betting plays. We took the time to build an optimal teaser bet for this week that includes four teams each getting seven points on their lines. Here is a look at the best teaser pick for Week 15.

Dallas Cowboys at Indianapolis Colts

Line: Colts -3

Dallas is on a roll right now with five straight wins to climb to the top of the NFC East at 8-5. Now the Cowboys get an opportunity to create even more separation and possibly secure their position as a playoff team when they visit Indianapolis. The Colts are a desperate team following a big win over the Houston Texans. However, it isn’t like we expect Indianapolis to blow away a red-hot Dallas side regardless of where this game is played. The Cowboys have the leagues longest winning streak and at the very least they should be able to keep this game close. Applying the seven-point tease moves Dallas from +3 to +10 on the road. The Cowboys should have no problem covering that number as the most obvious team on this teaser ticket.

Oakland Raiders at Cincinnati Bengals

Line: Bengals -3

The Bengals haven’t exactly looked incredible over the past few weeks. Cincinnati is just 2-6 against the spread in its last eight games. However, the Bengals are 5-0 against the spread in their last five home games and they could be in line for another strong performance against an Oakland side that hasn’t traveled well. The Raiders are coming off a shocking win over the Pittsburgh Steelers but they are just 1-5 straight up and 1-4-1 against the spread in their last six games in the Eastern time zone. Oakland is just 1-5 straight up on the road this season so they could be in tough to keep up with Cincinnati in this one. Teasing the line moves the Bengals from -3 to +4 at home. Cincinnati should win and cover.

Miami Dolphins at Minnesota Vikings

Line: Vikings -8

The Dolphins are coming off an incredible comeback win over the New England Patriots to improve to 7-6 and remain in the AFC Wild Card hunt. Now they have to travel to Minnesota to face a Vikings side that is in a must-win situation as well at 6-5-1. Minnesota has been favored by seven points or more twice this season and didn’t cover in either instance. Do they really have what it takes to blow out a hungry Miami team? Teasing the line for this game would move the Dolphins from +8 to +15 points. Even on the road, a desperate Miami side should have no problem covering that number.

New Orleans Saints at Carolina Panthers

Line: Saints -7

The Panthers seemed like a lock to make the playoffs when they opened the year with six wins in their first eight games. However, Carolina has since dropped five in a row to fall to 6-7, including an embarrassing 26-20 loss to the Cleveland Browns last week. The Panthers are 0-5 straight up and against the spread over their last five games. Now they have to host the Saints on Monday Night Football in a game that could get ugly in a hurry. New Orleans is 10-3 against the spread this season. Since they are still chasing the Los Angeles Rams for the top seed, there is a good chance they won’t let their foot off the gas this week. Teasing the Saints moves them from -7 to a pick’em. New Orleans should have no problem winning this game straight up.
