The Best Tiger Woods Masters Tournament Props To Bet On

PGA Tour

The first golf major of the year is right around the corner as the 2018 Masters Tournament tees off this week. While it’s been a while since we’ve been able to say this, all eyes have been on Tiger Woods heading into the tournament. He didn’t participate last year or in 2016, tied for 17th in 2015 and also missed the 2014 event. That’s how long it’s been since he’s been a factor at Augusta National. Can he make a mark this weekend? A lot of bettors hope so. With all of the interest, BetDSI sportsbook has posted a whole slew of betting props related to his performance this weekend.

One of the main reasons there is hype surrounding Tiger is his performance on the PGA Tour so far. At the beginning of the year, we were wondering if he’d make a few cuts and possibly push for a win at some point. He’s played six tournaments so far and has done much more than the experts expected. He did miss the cut at the Genesis Open and placed 23rd at the Farmers Insurance Open. However, outside of that, he has placed 12th or better in each of his other four events. That includes a thrilling second-place result at the Valspar Championship and a valiant effort for a fifth-place finish at the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Woods has a rich history at Augusta, which figures to help his cause this weekend. Few people know the course better than he does. He’s won The Masters four times and placed eighth or better 13 times. He’s finished outside the Top 10 just seven times.

At one point, Woods was the favorite to win this event but now the hype has died down a bit and people are being a bit more realistic. While he has proven that he has a great chance to win this weekend, he shouldn’t be priced as the favorite, according to the oddsmakers at BetDSI. At any rate, there’s a palpable excitement surrounding The Masters for the first time in a long time, so tune in or bet on the props to get a piece of the action.
