Boston Red Sox – Minnesota Twins Preview – 06.10.2016

Steven Wright (6-4, 2.29 ERA) takes the mound for the Boston Red Sox (34-25) as they meet Tyler Duffey (2-4, 4.79 ERA) and the Minnesota Twins (18-41) in the first of a three-game series at Target Field. The game starts at 8:10 p.m. ET on Friday, Jun. 10 and will air on NESN and FSN.

In his last start, Duffey pitched 5.2 innings, giving up four runs, striking out eight and walking two in a 7-5 loss to the Rays. Eduardo Nunez (.332, 30 Rs, 9 HRs, 24 RBIs, 12 SBs) continued his strong season yesterday, going 2 for 4 with one run. The Red Sox were victorious the last time Wright pitched. He pitched well, going 5.0 innings, allowing three runs (three unearned), striking out three and walking five in a 6-4 victory over the Blue Jays.
