In spite of general manager John Elway’s assertion that contract talks would begin after the 2019 NFL Draft, they’ve yet to happen. Harris is in the final season of his current contract and is due to earn $7.8 million this year.

With bonuses, it could jump up to $2.05 million. Last year, Ware ran for 246 yards and two touchdowns with the Kansas City Chiefs.
