Right now, it’s anyone’s guess as to when we might see Myles Garrett play football for the Cleveland Browns again. Honestly, I’m not sure that anyone watching sports can say they have seen something similar to what happened on Thursday Night Football.
Obviously, we are talking about the assault that happened on-field with a few seconds remaining in the game. For now, Adam Schefter and multiple other national news outlets are reporting that Garrett has been ‘suspended indefinitely’ by the NFL.

On Friday, Garrett had a new statement for everyone who saw what happened.
“Last night, I made a terrible mistake,” Garrett said in a statement issued Friday. “I lost my cool and what I did was selfish and unacceptable. I know that we are all responsible for our actions, and I can only prove my true character through my actions moving forward. I want to apologize to Mason Rudolph, my teammates, our entire organization, our fans and to the NFL. I know I have to be accountable for what happened, learn from my mistake, and I fully intend to do so.”
Certainly, he’s going to have some time away from the game to be accountable for what happened and learn from his mistake. Without question, the NFL will be suspending him the rest of the year; which is what the term indefinitely means.
Moreover – it could loom longer – which is probably what the league will spend the rest of the year discussing.
