Undeniably, Odell Beckham and Tom Brady move the sports needle despite being years apart. However, in the days leading up to the Cleveland Browns’ match-up with the undefeated New England Patriots; Beckham has a gift for Brady.

As reported by NESN and the Akron Beacon Journal, Beckham is giving Brady a pair of cleats made out of goat. For those who don’t know, Brady is known in NFL circles as ‘The Goat’ which stands for ‘Greatest of All-Time’.

Without question, this is a measure of respect with a fun angle attached to it by Beckham.

Furthermore, Beckham says Brady is even about his own level of elite.

“I have a pair of cleats for him made out of — I hope no animals were really harmed — but made out of goat hair,” Beckham said, according to the Beacon Journal. “[I have a pair] for me, too, but I’m gonna give them to him because he’s one of the GOATs, and he’s more the GOAT than I am.”

Notably, Bill Belichick was the Bill we know and love on the subject. When asked about Beckham, he gave you the type of quote we have heard for two decades; dating back to Belichick’s days as the coach of the old Cleveland Browns.

“He’s a dynamic player, and we played against him before. He’s a tough guy to handle. I have a ton of respect for him as a football player,”

While Beckham didn’t get a look at Dan Marino or Joe Montana, he’s right in calling Brady one of the best ever. Remember, Beckham is currently just 27 years old. I am 36 and barely remember Montana’s prime for instance.

Still, Brady has all the credentials. Aside from all the championships, he’s thrown 528 touchdown passes. He’s thrown 73 more in the playoffs with just 34 interceptions and boasts a 30-10 record in postseason play. Honestly, it’s hard to know where to start and where to end when listing Brady’s accomplishments.

He’s one of the greatest of all time, and it’s obvious. Now, he will have a pair of cleats that uniquely says so.
