The Chicago Bulls have made another significant move in reshaping their roster, trading guards Coby White and Mike Conley to the Charlotte Hornets. In return, the Bulls received guard Collin Sexton, forward Ousmane Dieng, and three second-round draft picks, according to sources confirmed by ESPN.

This transaction reflects Chicago’s intent to retool its backcourt and add future assets. Coby White, originally selected seventh overall by the Bulls in the 2019 NBA Draft, had become a key contributor in the team’s rotation. Known for his shooting ability and speed, White was averaging consistent minutes and played an important role in Chicago’s offensive schemes.

Mike Conley, a veteran guard with extensive playoff experience, joined the Bulls more recently. His leadership and playmaking had been valuable to the young roster. Conley adds depth and experience to the Hornets’ backcourt as they aim to strengthen their rotation.

In return, the Bulls acquire former top-10 pick Collin Sexton, who brings offensive firepower and playmaking skills. Sexton has shown the ability to score at a high level and will likely play a significant role in Chicago’s new backcourt setup. Ousmane Dieng, a young and versatile forward, has shown promise with his length and ability to play multiple positions. His development will be a key storyline for the Bulls moving forward.

The three second-round draft picks included in the deal provide Chicago with added flexibility for future transactions or long-term planning. These assets could be used to acquire additional talent or to bolster the team’s depth in subsequent drafts.

For Charlotte, the addition of White and Conley adds a mix of youth and experience. The Hornets expect the pairing to complement their existing core, providing immediate support on both ends of the floor.

Both teams appear focused on reshaping their rosters with an eye toward the future, positioning themselves for sustained competitiveness in the evolving NBA landscape.
