The Champions League final is set for Saturday with Real Madrid favored against Atletico Madrid. Let’s look at the match and Champions League predictions.

Champions League Odds – La Liga rivals will meet on more time before this season is over as Atletico Madrid takes on Real Madrid in the final of the Champions League. The regular season title went to Atletico Madrid as they topped Real Madrid and Barcelona. They will try to compete and amazing double as they look for the title in the Champions League. It won’t be easy as Real Madrid comes into the contest with more rest and with the top goal scorer in the world in Cristiano Ronaldo. Let’s look at the match and Champions League predictions.

Three-Way Champions League Betting Line
Real Madrid -105, Atletico Madrid +300, Draw +255, total 2.5 under

Money Line (Extra Time and Shootout Included)
Real Madrid -240, Atletico Madrid +200

Champions League Final Notes
This will be the first time in the 59 year history of the European Cup in which city rivals will play each other. This match will be played in Lisbon so there is no home field advantage for either team.

Real Madrid will be looking to win their 10th European title. It will be their 13th European Cup final but just their first since they won their 9th title in 2002. Atletico Madrid is making only their second appearance in the final as they were beaten in 1974 by Bayern Munich. Atletico is trying to become the 23rd team to win the European Cup.

Series Notes
These teams have only met once before in a European tie and that was back in the 1958/59 European Cup semi-finals. They have met a total of 194 league and Spanish Cup games. Real Madrid has 102 wins, Atletico has won 46 times and the teams have played 46 draws. This year it was Atletico winning 1-0 and the teams played to a 2-2 draw in league action. Madrid won the Copa del Rey semifinal.

Champions League Predictions
It is hard to say any team can have a letdown heading into the Champions League final but Atletico is coming off a draw with Barcelona that gave them the La Liga title. I think Real Madrid will come into this one more motivated and I think Ronaldo will score at least once. I will take Real Madrid to win the Champions League final on Saturday.
