Chattanooga Mocs – Samford Bulldogs Preview – 01.30.2016

The Chattanooga Mocs (17-3), the Southern’s top shooting team, will be in action against the Samford Bulldogs (11-10) at Pete Hanna Center. Action gets underway at 7:00 pm ET on Saturday, Jan. 30 and will air on ES3.

The Bulldogs are hoping to rebound after their 86-78 loss to UNC Greensboro in their last matchup. Jamal Shabazz had a good game for Samford, finishing with 15 points, six rebounds, and four assists. The Mocs, meanwhile, are coming off a 73-60 win against that same UNC Greensboro squad in their last outing. Eric Robertson was the game’s top scorer, registering 22 points on 7-for-11 shooting.

Over the last five games, Justin Tuoyo has been on fire for the Mocs. During that stretch, he has averaged 15.4 points, 5.0 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 0.8 steals, and 2.8 blocks.
