The 21-year-old has spent this season on loan at Cagliari and has been capped twice by Italy at senior level. The Athletic adds that Palestra is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge and is viewed as a strong tactical fit for manager Xabi Alonso.
Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked to Bournemouth midfielder Alex Scott, per The Daily Mail. The report says Manchester United are seeking midfield reinforcements amid plans to offload Manuel Ugarte, and any approach for the 22-year-old Scott would likely need to be in the region of £60 million. Bournemouth are reportedly eager to tie Scott to a new contract after his strong season.
