You can also bet on the game’s runline with the odds standing at -105 for the Indians -1.5 runs and -115 for the Brewers +1.5.

The Indians are 17-18 SU and are 13-21 against the spread (ATS). They’ve lost 7.2 units for moneyline bettors through the early part of the season and 9.8 units ATS. Cleveland is 3-4 ATS over its last seven games and the total has gone over in six of those seven. The Brewers, on the other hand, are 21-15 SU and 19-16 ATS. The team has gained 5.3 units for moneyline bettors and 2.3 units ATS. Milwaukee has covered the spread only twice over its last seven games and the total has gone under in three of those seven.

Milwaukee games have an over/under record of 13-21-1 so far in 2018. The Indians have an over/under record of 18-16.

Right-hander Carlos Carrasco will get the start for the visiting Indians. Carrasco is 4-1 with a 3.95 ERA and 39 strikeouts. He has yet to face the Brewers this year and did not record a start against them in 2017, either.

The Brewers are putting the ball in the hands of righty Junior Guerra (2-2, 2.33 ERA), who’s got 25 strikeouts and 12 walks to his name, as well as a 1.15 WHIP. Guerra did not record a start against the Indians in 2017.

Milwaukee’s pitchers have yielded 3.7 runs per game overall in 2018 as a unit. Its starters have an ERA of 3.96, a WHIP of 1.30 and a strikeouts-per-nine of 6.4. The bullpen has a solid ERA of just 2.56, a WHIP of 1.11 and a K/9 of 10.5.

The Milwaukee hitters are putting up 3.8 runs per outing, including 3.0 per game over its last 10 games and 3.0 per game over their last five. The team has a slash-line of .242/.302/.382 over its last five games and is 3-2 SU during that stretch.

The Brewers’ offense has been led by Lorenzo Cain and Eric Thames. Cain is slashing .267/.378/.425 with four home runs, 10 RBIs, 19 runs and eight stolen bases, and Thames is batting .250 with seven homers, 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored.

For the visitors, Cleveland’s pitchers have allowed 4.4 runs per game and its starters own a 3.55 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 8.34 K/9. The bullpen has an ERA of 5.40, along with a WHIP of 1.07.

The Indians offense has slashed .241/.310/.419 on its way to 4.5 runs scored per game in 2018, including 6.7 runs per game over the team’s last 10 games and 5.4 per game over the team’s last five contests (1-4 SU).

Cleveland’s offense has been powered by third baseman Jose Ramirez and shortstop Francisco Lindor, who’ve collectively belted 19 home runs. Ramirez is hitting .284/.373/.575 with 10 home runs, 22 RBIs and 22 runs scored, while Lindor (.289/.354/.544) is up to nine homers, 21 RBIs, 27 runs and five stolen bases.

Maintaining a slash line of .220/.270/.439 across 241 plate appearances, Lindor did not do especially well against right-handed pitching on the road last year (compared to his total season line of .273/.337/.505).

The Indians have lost 7.8 units and are 8-14 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher this season. The over has hit in 11 of those games, compared to 11 that’ve hit the under against righty starters. On the other hand, the Brewers have netted 4.3 units and are 15-11 ATS when facing a right-handed starting pitcher. The over’s hit in nine of those games, compared to 16 which went under the total.
