College Football Futures:  In just four years on the job Florida State Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher has led the program back to glory capped off with a BCS national championship last year along with a freshman QB, Jameis Winston, that was the Heisman Trophy winner.  Florida State opened as a 6/1 favorite to win the 2014 BCS National Championship with an over under win total of 11 -140.  The Seminoles opened as a prohibitive 2/5 choice to win the Atlantic Coast Conference championship and were at an overwhelming 1/6 to win the ACC Atlantic Division.

Winston Back

Winston was the sensation of the nation last year with 4057 yards passing with a 67% completion rate and a 40/10 TD/INT ratio.  Winston’s favorite receiver, Rashad Greene, is also back after hauling in 76 catches for 1128 yards and 9 TD’s.  Florida State has allowed no more than 15 points per game the past three seasons while kicker Robert Aguayo was the Groza Award winner as the best in the nation last year.

Handicapper’s Notes

The Seminoles were one of the best bets on the board for 2013 as they lost just 2 out of 14 games against the spread.  FSU has covered the spread in 10 out of their last 12 home games and has paid out in 12 out of their last 15 neutral site games.  The Seminoles have covered the spread in 25 out of their last 40 non-conference games.

Our Prognosis

The Seminoles have won 45 games straight up the past four seasons as Fisher has proven to have the ability to load the cupboard with top rated recruits and then get them to perform on game day.  With Winston back the sky is the limit for FSU!
