Colorado Rockies – Arizona Diamondbacks Preview – 09.12.2016

Shelby Miller (2-11, 6.89 ERA) and Tyler Anderson (5-5, 3.35 ERA) are on the hill in the first of a three-game series between the Arizona Diamondbacks (58-84) and the Colorado Rockies (69-74) at Chase Field. The Diamondbacks come into this series in the midst of a six-game losing streak. Action begins at 9:40 p.m. ET on Monday, Sep. 12 and can be seen on FSAZ and RTRM.

Miller pitched 4.1 innings in his last outing, surrendering five runs (one unearned) and striking out two in a 5-2 defeat to the Dodgers. Paul Goldschmidt (.298, 90 Rs, 20 HRs, 82 RBIs, 24 SBs) had another good game yesterday, going 2 for 4. Anderson went 7.1 innings, surrendering two runs, striking out two and walking two in a 3-2 defeat to the Giants in his most recent start. Trevor Story (.272, 67 Rs, 27 HRs, 72 RBIs, 8 SBs) went 1 for 2 yesterday with one RBI.
