Colorado Rockies – Miami Marlins Preview – 06.17.2016

In the first of a four-game series between the Miami Marlins (34-32) and the Colorado Rockies (32-33) at Marlins Park, Adam Conley (3-4, 4.13 ERA) and Jon Gray (4-2, 4.70 ERA) take the mound. The game gets underway at 7:10 p.m. ET on Friday, Jun. 17 and will air on FSFL and RTRM.

In his last start, Conley pitched 5.0 innings, allowing six runs (one unearned), striking out two and walking one in a 6-0 loss to the Diamondbacks. Marcell Ozuna (.316, 41 Rs, 12 HRs, 37 RBIs) went 1 for 2 Wednesday with one run. The Rockies were unsuccessful against the Padres 7-5 the last time Gray pitched. He went 7.0 innings, giving up three and striking out seven. Nolan Arenado (.290, 47 Rs, 20 HRs, 57 RBIs, 1 SB) has been hitting the ball well for the Rockies, going 2 for 5 Wednesday with one run, one home run, and three RBIs.
