A great day of Thanksgiving football continued in Dallas with the Buffalo Bills upsetting the Dallas Cowboys 26-15. Furthermore, Josh Allen made very few mistakes; and got the infamous Turkey Leg Award.

Josh Allen said he dreamed of eating a turkey leg on Thanksgiving after a win.

Today, he lived it. And so did Tre' White 😂😂😂 #Bills #GoBills @news4buffalo

Equally important, reports surfaced during the game that had Dallas head coach Jason Garrett safe for the year. Interestingly, this report broke from Adam Schefter right after Dak Prescott hit Jason Witten for an opening-drive touchdown.

Cowboys owner and GM Jerry Jones and EVP Stephen Jones plan to allow Jason Garrett to finish the season as the team’s head coach — no matter what, a high-ranking source familiar with their thinking told @WerderEdESPN.

Perhaps owner Jerry Jones fired off a text to the media too soon, because the Bills scored 26 unanswered points from there.

Remember – before the game – Terry Bradshaw took the Dallas organization to task. This afternoon’s game did very little to dispel what the analyst had to say. Yes, the Cowboys won on Thanksgiving last season. However this game against Buffalo was San Diego in 2017 in-redux if you watched both.

By comparison: Dallas comes into the game as a big home favorite, scores to begin the game, then plays a mistake-laden game the rest of the contest and eventually gets blown out with sloppy play.

People will say things like this game wasn’t all on Jason Garrett. However, I have to disagree. You  simply don’t see good football teams come out in what is a true home-field advantage environment and get pasted like this. Moreover, Garrett is now 1-8 in Thanksgiving Day games.

Now more than ever, the Cowboys simply look like a team stuck on repeat. If Garrett is safe for the rest of the year, I’m not sure why. Indeed, Jones should probably just go ahead and make the change now. Or even better, Garrett should just do the noble thing by turning in his keys and quitting.

It feels like the same thing every year in Dallas, and some of this is probably on Jerry Jones as well. In other notes, Dak Prescott threw for 355 yards, two touchdowns and completed 32 of 49 in a losing effort.
