The Detroit Tigers will pay a visit to Pittsburgh to take on the Pirates at PNC Park. The game gets going at 7:35 p.m. ET and this interleague matchup will be shown on ATPT and FSDT.

Detroit Tigers at Pittsburgh Pirates Odds

Southpaw Matthew Boyd is projected to start for the visiting Tigers. Boyd is 0-1 with a 1.40 ERA and 11 strikeouts. He has yet to face the Pirates this year and only made one start against them in 2017 (0-1, 11.25 ERA and five strikeouts across four innings).

The Pirates are handing the ball to righty Chad Kuhl (2-1, 4.57 ERA), who’s got 17 strikeouts and seven walks to his credit, as well as a WHIP of 1.62. Kuhl is 1-0 with four strikeouts and a 6.35 ERA in one start against Detroit this year.

Detroit’s pitchers have allowed 4.5 runs per game and its starters own a 3.80 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 6.75 K/9. The bullpen has an ERA of 4.30, along with a WHIP of 1.25.
