Detroit Tigers vs Toronto Blue Jays Preview and Pick

The game gets underway at 1:08 p.m. ET on Saturday, Jul. 4 and will air on RSN and FSN-DET.

Price has a 2.47 ERA and a 15-2 record in his career against the Blue Jays, but faces a solid Toronto offense that’s hitting .266 on the year. Miguel Cabrera (.350, 43 Rs, 15 HRs, 54 RBIs, 1 SB) continued his strong season yesterday, going 2 for 2 with one RBI. In his career against the Tigers, Dickey is 6-2 with a 3.78 ERA. He gets a strong Detroit offense that’s batting .277. Josh Donaldson (.298, 61 Rs, 19 HRs, 54 RBIs, 3 SBs) went 1 for 5 yesterday with one run and two RBIs.

Detroit, a -149 favorite, will look to capitalize at home against Toronto. The Over/Under (O/U) for the matchup is set at eight runs.
