Jordan faces off against the team he walked away from. Someone better play some T-Swift as the clippers are announced tonight in LA.

DFS C: DeAndre Jordan Favored vs. Orlando

DeAndre Jordan is the leading candidate at center. He is the only name priced into the High tier for tonight’s games. Jordan ranks second for total points, projected for 40.40 DraftKings points against Orlando. He offers a lower value than Marc Gasol (6.11) and Steven Adams (6.28), but he has a more favorable matchup. The other two will be squaring off in Oklahoma City for unpredictable results. Owners who want to avoid the high price can find safe valuable punt options in Nerlens Noel and Joakim Noah.

Hassan Whiteside took advantage of a beneficial matchup as he kept the Heat within reasonable striking distance last night. Whiteside delivered a remarkable performance in his second game back from injury. He tied Kevin Durant for a game high 28 points, but also collected 20 rebounds in the loss. Whiteside has been one of the most successful centers in the league this season. That trend continues as his 61.5 DraftKings points were the top point total for the position.

Jonas Valanciunas entered yesterday’s game with elevated expectations against a poor Boston frontcourt. He took full advantage of his opportunity with 18 points and 23 rebounds in the win at home. Valanciunas struggled from the floor shooting 6-18, though he went a perfect 6-6 from the line. The Raptors have been looking for more reliable interior play and it begins with him. His 9.75 value was the highest ranking for all available centers on Tuesday.

High Tier Pick ($8,000 – $7,000)

DeAndre Jordan – $7000 – 40.4 Points

The gradual improvement of DeAndre Jordan as an offensive weapon has been something the Clippers have been looking for. Now into his ninth season, Jordan has seen an increase in field goal attempts every season. Though the incline has been marginal, it has come as a result of his increasing offensive efficiency. Los Angeles has not missed a beat in the absence of Blake Griffin as Jordan’s been a sporadic 20-point scorer. His main focus remains on rebounding and defense, but there has been a greater effort on both ends of the floor.

DeAndre Jordan stands in as the number one High tier option with a 34.3 fantasy average each night. The Clippers will be facing the Magic at the Staples Center this evening. Orlando has been good against the position as they rank 10th versus opposing centers. Jordan saw an edge in the first meeting with the Magic. He unsurprisingly recorded a double-double in the win, finishing with 22 points and 13 rebounds. His success came from a heavy dosage of free throws which has been an unpredictable part of his game yet again.

Middle Tier ($7,000 – $5,000)

Steven Adams – $5700 – 35.802 Points

The Thunder have seen great improvement from Steven Adams this season. He began his ascent last year in the playoffs and has continued it into 2017. A major factor in his success was the departure of Kevin Durant. With Russell Westbrook being the lone feature option, Adams has seen more opportunities created for him to score around the rim. His offensive arsenal is still weak, but the elite play of Westbrook has helped overshadow that.

Steven Adams plays as one of the top value options with an average of 27.5 fantasy points per night. The Thunder will take on the Grizzlies at home this evening. Memphis have been an immoveable force against opposing centers with the 2nd ranking defense in the league. Adams turned in a mixed bag of results when the team was blown out my Memphis at the end of the month. Limited to only 6 points, he found success with on the boards as he collected 14 rebounds. He’s been in a good rhythm over the past couple week, providing potential momentum for him to carry into the game.

Low Tier ( -$5,000)

Nerlens Noel – $4200 – 28.013 Points

It has been nightmare saga for Nerlens Noel in his time with the 76ers. After being drafted in 2013, he missed his entire rookie season with an ACL injury. Since then the team has used draft picks to bring in Dario Saric, Jahlil Okafor, and Joel Embiid. Despite Okafor’s limited ceiling and continued injuries from Embiid, Noel appeared to be the odd man out. Missing much of this season with an injury, he ultimately demanded a trade. He remains with the team, having appeared in ten games without a single start.

Nerlens Noel is one of the better punt options available this evening with a 15.2 fantasy average this year. Philadelphia faces New York at home  tonight. The Knicks offer a perfect matchup as they rank 29th against opposing centers. This will be the first meeting between the two teams this season. Noel has bounced back from is recent tirade with the team by seeing increased minutes in the past couple of games. A top talent, he offers good potential from the Low tier.
