Paul Doyle used his car to drive through a group gathered to honor the team’s championship victory, an act that authorities described as deploying a vehicle as a weapon.
The incident occurred during mass celebrations in Liverpool after the club secured its Premier League title. Festivities had drawn large crowds, with supporters filling the streets near various iconic city landmarks. According to prosecutors, Doyle ignored multiple warnings to stop and drove through cordons and bystanders, causing panic and injuries.
