Duke is invited to the NCAA Rowing Championships

Duke will participate in the NCAA Championships for the third straight year and fourth time in program history, as the 14th-ranked Blue Devils won an at-large bid to the 2022 regatta in Sarasota. The 2022 NCAA Rowing Championships will be held at Nathan Benderson Park from May 27-29, 2022. Duke has previously participated in the regatta three times, in 2016, 2019, and 2021.

Megan Cooke Carcagno, the head coach, stated, “We are ecstatic to represent our university, our alumni, and our whole team in the 2022 NCAA Championships.” “Every year, the competition seems to get quicker and stiffer, so we are humbled and thrilled to get this invitation. I’m extremely proud of the dedication that this crew demonstrates every weekend. They are all invested in the program’s success and have a singular objective. Cannot wait!”

Duke won the Second Varsity Eight C Final in the 2021 regatta, marking the program’s third victory in a C Final. The Varsity Eight placed fourth in the C Final, whilst the Varsity Four came in third in the Petite Final.
