Justin Rose +1000

Rose is the world’s top-ranked golfer heading in to the Tour Championship. He has a terrific record at East Lake, including a pair of runner-up finishes, and if he is on his game he will be tough to beat. Rose plays Donald Ross-designed tracks better than anyone and he will be playing with a sense of urgency as he looks to overcome a disappointing finish at Aronimink. Rose is also No. 2 in the FedEx Cup standings heading in to this week, which is where four of the last five FedEx Cup winners started heading in to the final week. It’s no surprise Rose is the co-favorite to win this tournament.

Dustin Johnson +1000

D.J. has never won a FedEx Cup, but he sits third in the standings heading in to the final event and has the skill set needed to finish the season by adding another trophy to his long list of accomplishments. Johnson has been somewhat erratic since winning the U.S. Open, but has played East Lake well and it wouldn’t be a surprise if he turned it on again this weekend. With two fifth-place finishes already highlighting his eight starts at East Lake, Johnson is primed to contend for the outright win in Atlanta.

Rory McIlroy +1200

Rory’s decision to sit out the Northern Trust Open really paid off for him as he has placed T-12th at the Dell Technologies Championship and fifth at the BMW Championship. McIlroy leads the playoffs in distance of all drives and par-four scoring, so it’s clear he has what it takes to succeed. A winner in his last appearance at East Lake back in 2016, McIlroy is a legitimate contender this week.

Justin Thomas +1400

Thomas is trying to become the first back-to-back FedEx Cup champion in history. He has the tools in his arsenal to deliver at East Lake this weekend. Thomas has a tremendous strike rate and is coming off a week off to refresh and prepare for the final event of the season. After co-leading here last year en route to a solo runner-up finish, Thomas is an intriguing betting option to win it all this year.

Brooks Koepka +1800

All of a sudden the rest that Koepka got at the beginning of the season when he was recovering from injury looks like it is paying off as he enters the final event of the season as fresh as anyone in the field. Currently sitting seventh in points, Koepka should be in the mix again this week. The current playoff leader for strokes gained: tee-to-green, Koepka has the tools he needs to surprise.

Tony Finau +2000

Finau is a first time Ryder Cup starter and currently sits third in the FedEx Cup points heading in to the final tournament, which is the highest of the nine non-winners still in the field. He tied for seventh in his debut here last season, but does he have what it takes to take another step forward and contend for the outright win? He’s far from a lock. However, at +2000 odds his price tag should lead to a substantial backing this week.

Webb Simpson +2800

Speaking of decent value, Simpson makes a lot of sense this week as a legitimate contender to win outright at +2800 odds. After all, Simpson won the Players Championship by four strokes earlier this season and he ended up finishing in the top-20 at all four major events. His record at East Lake includes a fifth place finish in 2012 and a fourth place finish here in 2013. With $10 million up for grabs this week, look for Simpson to bring his best game to the Tour Championship as a smart sleeper pick.

Bubba Watson +4000

If you are looking for a sleeper pick with even better sports betting odds, Watson could be the prime selection at +4000. Bubba’s record at East Lake is impressive and he finished the BMW Championship on fire after closing with a 65-65-66 over the final three rounds. If Watson can carry over the momentum from that victory, he should be in the mix of contenders to win this weekend. At +4000 odds, Bubba is certainly worth taking a chance on as a sleeper pick to win the Tour Championship.
