EPL Fantasy: Week 15 Lineup

The Premier League season continues with five games on the schedule for Saturday this week and that means plenty of options available when it comes to building a winning lineup in DraftKings competitions. We decided to stick with two of the most favorable matchups for the most part when building our ideal winning roster. Here is a look at the optimal lineup for Saturday’s DraftKings EPL Fantasy Leagues.

GK: Petr Cech, Arsenal

Salary: $5,700

Arsenal is coming off back-to-back wins over Bournemouth and West Ham United in which they outscored their opponents by a combined 8-2 score and now they get another favorable matchup when they host Stoke City this week. Cech has lived up to all expectations for the Gunners this year and he should be a lock as the best option available at the position in EPL fantasy tournaments this week.

D: Gabriel Armando de Abreu, Arsenal

Salary: $3,600

Arsenal has called on its depth on the back end of late and Gabriel is another capable defender that has filled in admirably when given the opportunity the last two games. Keep an eye on the wire to make sure that he will start this week as well and as long as he is good to go then he should be in your lineup as a value pick.

D: John Stones, Manchester City

Salary: $3,400

Stones checked back in to the City lineup for last week’s game against Chelsea and there is every reason to believe he will play versus Leicester City on Saturday. Like our first defender selection, Stones isn’t going to make a tremendous impact at the offensive end of the pitch but he could benefit from a potential clean sheet bonus as another strong value option on the back end.

M: Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City

Salary: $9,800

Our second entry from the City roster is arguably one of the best plays on the board for Saturday as De Bruyne has been absolutely outstanding for Manchester City all season. After being held without a goal or an assist in each of his last two appearances, De Bruyne should be primed for an excellent performance with a chance to go off this week as our top midfielder option in EPL fantasy

M: Ilkay Gundogan, Manchester City

Salary: $5,300

While Gundogan isn’t as explosive as De Bruyne, he is definitely a strong value play based on the fact that he is nearly half the price and will be right there with De Bruyne contributing to the build up in the City attack. Gundogan could play substantial minutes this week so he is a prime option to pay off after flying under the radar heading in to Saturday’s contests.

F: Alexis Sanchez, Arsenal

Salary: $10,500

It simply wouldn’t make sense to build any lineup for Saturday without the best player on the board in Sanchez. Arsenal is capable of scoring goals in bunches and Sanchez is coming off another dominant performance in which he scored a hat trick with an assist. The Gunners will have plenty of scoring opportunities versus Stoke City on Saturday and Sanchez will be front and center for them the entire game.

F: Callum Wilson, Bournemouth

Salary: $6,600

Our first venture away from the Arsenal and Manchester City squads is to grab Wilson, who is an extremely underpriced asset based on his recent production. Wilson has scored a goal in each of his last two games for Bournemouth and there is absolutely no reason to expect his production to slow with a relatively decent matchup versus Burnley this weekend. Bournemouth isn’t always a great option for EPL fantasy but this is a good situation. They have scored 19 goals in 14 games so far this season.

FLEX: Grant Xhaka, Arsenal

Salary: $4,800

With just over $5K left over for our final FLEX play, Xhaka seems like the best value for our money after playing the full 90 minutes against both Bournemouth and West Ham United. Xhaka hasn’t found the score sheet since an early season meeting with Hull City but that means he should be overdue with another prime opportunity to make a fantasy impact this Saturday as the final member of our optimal DraftKings lineup.
