EPL Fantasy: Week 35 DFS Lineup

Week 35 of the Premier League season schedule kicks off on Saturday with 10 teams in action. While we have plenty of options to choose from we will undoubtedly stick with the best matchups on the board with a strong mix of star talent and sleeper value options. Here is a look at the optimal lineup for this week’s DraftKings EPL fantasy leagues.

GK: Ben Foster, West Brom

Salary: $5,000

West Brom is sitting comfortably in the eighth position in the table with a four-point cushion ahead of Southampton and Watford. That is one reason why they have dropped three in a row but eventually they have to play with some sort of urgency in order to avoid falling any further in the table. Leicester has been equally awful of late so look for Foster to deliver a strong performance in what should be a low scoring game. Hopefully he can pitch a clean sheet for us and help up to a good day in EPL fantasy.

D: Martin Kelly, Crystal Palace

Salary: $3,900

Crystal Palace is just two points up on Burnley in the table and seven points up on the relegation line entering this weekend. There will be a sense of urgency for this clash with Burnley and that should result in a strong performance. Kelly is available at under $4K so he is a smart option here. Crystal Palace isn’t often in our EPL fantasy recaps as they are in 12th place in the standings with 38 points. They have allowed 54 goals this year, but this is a good matchup for them.

D: Marc Wilson, West Brom

Salary: $3,100

Wilson has stepped up for West Brom in recent weeks but his price tag is still very low at just over $3K. It makes sense to use Wilson in this spot as a strong value option. West Brom enters the week with 44 points in 33 games. That puts them in ninth place but there is a huge gap between them and seventh as Everton has a 14-point lead on them.

M: Dusan Tadic, Southampton

Salary: $8,200

Southampton will be looking to keep Hull from gaining any more ground above the relegation line and the result could very well be a high scoring game. Southampton is coming off back-to-back losses so there will definitely be a little more urgency from Tadic and company. Southampton enters the week in ninth place with 40 points. Of note for EPL fantasy purposes, they have scored 39 goals and allowed 44 in 32 games this season.

M: Jason Puncheon, Crystal Palace

Salary: $4,300

The fact that Puncheon is available at just over $4K makes him a little more appealing in DraftKings competitions. Puncheon will have plenty of opportunities to add to his season stat line on Saturday. He is worth investing in here as a smart value pick.

F: Christian Benteke, Crystal Palace

Salary: $8,800

After saving big at some of the other positions we have just over $24K to address our final three roster spots with some of the best options on the board. Benteke is one of them as he is the best forward available for Saturday. At $8.8K, it is worth spending big on Benteke in this spot.

F: Marko Arnautovic, Stoke

Salary: $8,100

Arnautovic is another higher priced option that is worth investing in for Saturday. Stoke has the potential to produce a high scoring game as they look to break out of their recent funk. Arnautovic should be front and center in their attack. Stoke enters the week in 11th place in the Premier League standings. They have allowed 50 goals so far while scoring just 37th, which explains why they are in the bottom half of the standings table.

FLEX: Manolo Gabbiadini, Southampton

Salary: $8,500

After slotting in Tadic, we will double down on Southampton with Gabbiadini as our FLEX position pick. Gabbiadini is the best available talent on the board that we can still afford with the money that we have left over. It makes sense to plug him in here in our EPL fantasy lineup.
