Europa League Qualification Round – June 29

Europa League Qualification

The Europa League Qualification round of the 2017/18 campaign kicks off on Thursday, June 29.

We here at Get More Sports will have you covered throughout the entire tournament, so buckle up everyone! Admir and I plan to once again dominate the web with our European football articles. Europa League, Champions League, and a handful of European domestic leagues, will give you more reasons to visit us.

With the release of the Get More Sports APP this past week, we are excited for the future around here. You can now find Get More Sports in the Google Play Store. Hopefully, by the time these Europa League matches finish on Thursday, we will be on Android and IOS as well.

Speaking of the future, it seems that it came so quickly didn’t it? We are already entering Champions League and Europa League qualification matches, despite just crowning champions recently. Does it not seem like yesterday, when Manchester United took down Ajax 2 – 0 on May 24 to win the 2016/17 Europa League title?

So, let me tell you what you can expect between Admir and I this week. We are both putting up 4-match previews at a time, giving out betting advice along the way. That is why you see our images appearing as they do, for all of our Europa League qualification articles.

We are hoping that doing more than one match at a time in each piece holds value to those who don’t want to open 30+ pages. Admir and I are expecting to have at least 30 of the 50 Thursday Europa League qualification matches covered.

As you can see from the attached image with my article, I picked these four matches to give offers. I will list the lines we are going to be dealing with as well.

I was nice enough to give Admir his choice of matches, before I decided on which I would cover. Aren’t I a great boss? He better say so!

Does anyone recall my stats in Europa League for the last two campaigns? Here, let me hit you with a reminder: I’ve given out 124 Europa League predictions all tracked at a certain site that is familiar to many.
With all plays being tracked at 1 unit, I am at +23 Units with an ROI of 16.1%, only accumulating 43 total losses. Not too shabby, which is why I mention it. We like to call that useful information.

One of the reasons I am starting with the match in Slovakia is because I think it is hysterical to see that total at 2.5. I am referring to the match with Trencin and Kutaisi at the top of my list. These are those fun moments where I have no reason to hand out a ton of analysis. I simply know enough about these two, to think that three goals between them should come easily, and that means a cashed ticket.

Torpedo Kutaisi is in full league mode, as they just wrapped up their Erovnuli Liga campaign in Georgia. With no time to spare, their Europa League campaign kicks off just 8 days after wrapping up league play. Even though Kutaisi did a great job keeping the ball out of their net through the 18 fixtures of league play, I don’t think it will be as easy for them to stop Trencin from scoring at home.
We know Kutaisi has not played in club competition since their last appearance in the 2013/14 Europa League campaign. Kutaisi’s record in UEFA Cup/Europa League competition sits at 2 – 2 – 8 in 12 outings.

I honestly just see a 3 – 1 type of home win for Trencin, so that’s why I see this total at 2.5 as playable.

So, let’s hit the board with my first play of the Europa League qualification round:

Suggested Play:
Trencin vs Kutaisi
Total Over 2.5 @ -110

Moving on, Dinamo Minsk is back, and they did advance to the third round of last year’s Europa League tournament.

Dinamo is so used to being in this tournament, that it is a zero surprise to see them here again. This season will mark the 9th straight time that Dinamo is appearing in UEFA Cup/Europa League play. With only a few absences since 2006, Dinamo has appeared in the secondary club competition eight straight campaigns, escaping through to group stage only twice.

I hope I don’t get embarrassed with these two predictions, because I know the history of Runavik. To say they have not done well in club competition, is a complete understatement. Runavik has made 10 appearances in club competition since 2003, and has never made it out of the first round. In fact, the club has only won two of their 20 matches played overall.

I think Dinamo and Runavik are going to play to a 3 – 2 result and that leads me to two plays, as mentioned.

Suggested Plays:
Din. Minsk vs NSI Runavik
Runavik +2.5 Handicap @ -110
Total Over 3.5 @ -110

Welcome to Europa League qualification Zira! We have a new entrant to the tournament, although Zira should have actually had a crack at club competition two years ago. Despite only being in existence for three years, Zira came in second place in their first top flight season two years ago, but were denied entry to Europa League.

For the ninth consecutive year, Differdange has found their way to a Europa League campaign. Despite the experience for Differdange, and the lack of experience for Zira, Zira is favored. They will not be playing on their true home ground, however, but their excitement to even be here should take over.

I believe that Differdange’s experience will be a factor though. An even money +100 line on the +0.5 handicap suits me fine, and I believe Differdange will get a result. A draw or a win cashes my ticket, so it goes in the books…

Suggested Play:
Zira vs Differdange
Differdange +0.5 Handicap @ +100

Well, I chose to wrap up with the match between Levadia and Cork City for a reason, then the lines kind of went crazy, and Cork City has everyone’s attention. A few days ago, Cork City was sitting at +145, and I was chomping at the bit to write about that. Now, we see a simple +110 on the club from Ireland, and I get why the line moved. Why would anyone expect Levadia to show up?

Oh, I expect them to show up for sure, and this match should be a fun game to watch. Honestly, I see plenty of goals being scored here, but all we need is three of them? I think we will see 2 – 1 within the hour, and that last half hour of play will not slow down either.

I will leave you with that total, and some parting comments.

Suggested Play:
Levadia vs Cork City
Total Over 2.5 @ +105

Well, again, I hope to see more of everyone now that we are APP-friendly. Club football is back, and it’s not like we get much of a break in this sport. That’s what makes the beautiful game so lovely. It’s a sport that seems to always have matches being played somewhere.

I hope you enjoy our Europa League qualification articles here at GMS, and we will see you soon.

In Bocca Al Lupo! Ciao!
