Florida Gators vs Missouri Tigers Odds

The No. 11 Florida Gators (5-0) look to extend their unbeaten streak as they travel to play the Missouri Tigers (4-1). The game will begin Saturday, Oct 10 at 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on SECN.

Missouri beat South Carolina 24-10 last week. Nate Brown had a solid outing in the win, totaling six receptions for 33 yards and two TDs. Florida also got the win in last week’s performance, crushing Ole Miss 38-10. Demarcus Robinson had an outstanding performance for the Gators, registering eight receptions for 98 yards and one TD. Will Grier also had a big day, contributing 271 yards and four TDs through the air.

Florida is a slight three-point favorite in this game and the Over/Under (O/U) is presently unavailable.

While the Tigers have a good Straight Up (SU) record this season (4-1), they’ve played below expectations with a 1-4 record Against The Spread (ATS). The Gators might have a difficult time running the ball against the 23rd-best run defense in the nation. The Tigers give up 109.4 rushing yards per game. Missouri has only earned an average of 4.8 penalties per game on the season, making them one of the least penalized teams in the nation (19th).

On the other side, the Gators have a record of 4-1 ATS and 5-0 SU. Passing the ball has yielded impressive results thus far for the Gators. They complete 67.3% of their throws, one of the best percentages in Division I. Switching gears to the Florida defense, it has some favorable matchups that it may be able to take advantage of as well. The Florida defense has allowed just 99.4 yards per game this season, 15th in the nation. The Tigers need to protect their quarterback against the sack-happy Gators. The Florida defense ranks fifth in the country in sacks with 3.8 per game.

Predictions: SU Winner – Florida, ATS Winner – Florida
