The Rams will be hoping for a similar result after thoroughly outplaying the City College of New York Beavers in their last matchup, 106-58. The Rams had a much better turnover percentage (6.5 vs. 27.9) and had a much better offensive rebounding percentage (33.3 vs. 16.7). Nick Honor had a good outing for Fordham, recording 18 points.

In the Dukes’ last outing, they were victorious over the William & Mary Tribe, 84-70. Duquesne’s 11.9 turnover percentage was their largest strength over William & Mary, who had a rate of 19.8. Austin Rotroff led Duquesne in scoring with 17 points on 6-for-7 shooting from the field.

After splitting two games last season, these teams will go head-to-head for the first time this year. In the most recent contest, the Rams won 80-57. Fordham made good use of their 26 trips to the free throw line, converting on 22 of them (84.6 percent). Duquesne, meanwhile, was 15-19 (78.9 percent).

It could be a sloppy game for the Duquesne offense. Duquesne ranks 308th in the NCAA in ball protection (turnover percentage of 21.5 percent), while the ball-hawking defense of Fordham forces the 53rd-most turnovers in the nation (22.6 percent).
