French Boxing Odds – Friday Fights In Paris

French Boxing Odds

French Boxing Odds – The Cirque d’Hiver in Paris, France hosts a full night of boxing this coming Friday, May 27th and two of the featured fights are getting attention at the sport books already. Two EBU European titles are on the line in the co-feature fights.

Veteran Mehdi Amar (32-4-1) faces Ukraine’s Serhiy Demchenko (16-9-1) for the vacant Light Heavyweight belt. Mehdi has held the belt throughout 2015 and he is currently on a five-fight winning streak since logging a pair of draws in 2014. Demchenko is 3-7-1 in his last 11 fights, and he is a veteran who resides in Italy. Despite his poor record over the last five years, Demchenko has faced better overall competition by far.

The bout for the European title at 154 lb is sure to be hotly contested between Cedric Vitu and Isaac Real of Spain. France and Spain are neighbors and there is a rivalry aspect to this fight that has a buzz around it. Vitu is 44-2 overall and at 30-years-old he figures to still be in his prime. He won the EBU title back in June of 2015 and he has successfully defended the belt twice already. The title win came on the road in Italy and he took one of his career losses against Sergey Rabchenko in the United Kingdom, but he is a fighter strictly from the French scene. The 34-year-old Real went 4-0 in 2015 and he has already notched a win in 2016. The lone loss of his career came to Jack Culcay in Germany and he figures to face the same type of hostile environment for this fight.

The live event features 11 fights in all and the show counts on several notable fighters to fill out the undercard. Former interim WBO middleweight world champion Hassan N’Dam N’Jikam (32-2) is scheduled for an eight round fight as he looks to score a second win in a row since his June of 2015 loss at the hands of David Lemieux. N’Dam N’Jikam has to figure that he has more to give on the world scene and he is looking to earn wins and get back on track so he can make another run at a big money fight.

Another notable attraction on the card sees Female 10 round action as Maiva Hamadouche (12-1) is facing Colombia’s Enis Pacheco (15-3-2) for the vacant WBC Silver belt at 135 lbs. Hamadouche is coming off a terrific showing in November when she failed to take Delfine Persoon’s WBC title at Lightweight. Persoon is 34-1 overall and many consider her the best pound for pound female fighter out there. As for Hamadouche, she got right back on the horse after her loss, as this is her fourth fight since then. In Pacheco she faces a rugged fighter who came up in South America’s robust women’s scene.
