Adam Gase denied reports Thursday that he was displeased with the team’s offseason signing of running back Le’Veon Bell. Gase told the media he was “excited” to have Bell on the team and reports he was seeking to trade the RB were “ridiculous.”

Alex Smith apparently isn’t ready to hang up his spurs just yet. The quarterback, who suffered a horrible broken leg last season, was throwing Thursday at Washington Redskins organized team activities.

After receiving an opening contract offer from the Dallas Cowboys, quarterback Dak Prescott submitted a counter-offer Wednesday night. According to Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, the negotiations are “going well.”
