                                                         Schalke 04 vs. VFL Wolfsburg

Three-Way: 1: Schalke 04 -120; X: +288 Draw; 2: VFL Wolfsburg +440 at BetDSI Sportsbook

Spread -0.5: Schalke 04 -132; VFL Wolfsburg +123

Total +2.5: Over +102; Under -105

SCHALKE 04

We can describe the Schalke 04 team performances as pretty solid so far this season. They are currently riding a three-game undefeated streak and they are definitely not that highly unpredictable and disappointing squad from last year. If they can continue with this pace, they’ll be contenders for one of the spots that lead to one of the UEFA European team competitions next year.

The Miners currently rank at No. 5 spot in the Bundesliga table with 16 points in nine games and a 5-1-3 record (3-1-1 at home). Their goal difference is 12- 9 (8-5 at home) and 40% of their home matches had over 2.5 goals in total while 11% of their games had over 3.5 goals in total. They’ve managed to score in both halves in 44% of their duels while both teams scored in every third Schalke’s matchup.

Leon Goretzka and Guido Burgstaller lead the team in scoring with four and three goals so far while Amine Harit tops the team in assists with two. Passing segment belongs to defenders Naldo and Thilo Kehrer with 413 and 397 total passes while goalie Ralf Fahrmann has 92 shots against, 23 saves and three games with a clean sheet so far.

Matija Nastasic (ankle) and Pablo Insua (rib) are expected to be back in a few weeks while Leon Goretzka’s (muscle) and Donis Avdijaj’s (ankle) status is unknown. Nabil Bentaleb (hip) and Luke Hemmerich (foot) are listed as day to day.

VFL WOLFSBURG

The Wolves on the other side are one of the most peculiar squads this season. After only nine Bundesliga rounds they already have six draws (they had seven in the entire last season) but they are also winless in last seven weeks. They do have only one loss during that span (1:0 against Stuttgart) but a little more effort in finishing and a bit more luck would definitely come handy for coach’s Schmidt team.

Currently, they rank at No. 14 spot in the Bundesliga table with nine points in nine games and a 1-6-2 record (1-2-1 when visiting). They score 1.00 and concede 1.33 goals per match (9-12 goal difference) and 33% of their games had over 2.5 goals in total while 50% of their road matchups had over 3.5 goals in totThe squadquad managed to score and concede at least one goal in both halves in 25% of their road duels while both teams scored in 67% of their matchups.

Daniel Didavi tops the team in scoring with three goals while Divock Origi has two in his account. Didavi is also team’s best assister with three while Paul Verhaegh has two. Passing segment is being dominated by defender Felix Udokhai with 378 total passes while goalie Koen Casteels has 110 shots against, 26 saves and one game with clean sheet.

Sebastian Jung (ankle) is expected to be back in a few weeks while Kaylen Hinds’s (Illness) status is unknown. Adelino Vierinha (ankle) should be back in a few days while Christian Trasch (unknown) is listed as day to day. John Anthony Brooks (thigh) and Jeffrey Bruma (knee) are back in training.

Schalke 04 vs. VFL Wolfsburg – Match Prediction

This should be a very interesting matchup having in mind that both teams won their midweek contests as part of the DFB Pokal competition. Over 2.5 goals in total is my best guess while home team has a slight advantage when it comes to the final result. Still, I would go with a both teams score as my first pick.

My pick: Both teams score YES (-106)

Additional pick: Over 2.5 goals (+102)

TSG Hoffenheim 1899 vs. Borussia Monchengladbach

Three-Way: 1: Hoffenheim +121; X: +291 Draw; 2: Borussia Monchengladbach +252

Spread -0.5: Hoffenheim +112; Borussia Monchengladbach -119

Total +3: Over -106; Under -101

 TSG HOFFENHEIM 1899

The Blues from Sinsheim might be on the verge of their first longer period of poor form as they are winless in the Bundesliga in last three weeks. The efficiency is not the problem but they also concede many goals lately and that’s where they need to tighten up if they want to get back on the right track. Injuries have also made an impact but this issue should make less affect in next few weeks when most of their injured players are set to return.

They currently rank at No. 4 spot in the Bundesliga table with 16 points in nine matches, same as Schalke 04 but with a better goal difference (16-11). They are 4-4-1 so far into the season (3-2-0) at home and 44% of their matches had over 2.5 goals in total. On the other side, 80% of their home games had under 2.5 goals in total and both teams scored in 44% of their overall duels.

Striker Mark Uth tops the team in scoring with five goals while Andrej Kramaric and Sandro Wagner have two each. Kramaric and Wagner are also along with Steven Zuber teams’ top assisters with two each while passing segment belongs to defender Kevin Vogt with 502 total passes so far. Goalkeeper Oliver Baumann has 132 shots against, 29 saves and three clean-sheet games at the moment.

Benjamin Hubner (card suspension) is unavailable for the next match while Sandro Wagner (groin), Adam Szalai (groin), Serge Gnabry (thigh) and Ermin Bicakcic (knee) are all listed as day to day. Stefan Posch’s (unknown) status is unknown while Dennis Geiger (muscle) and Nadiem Amiri (calf) are listed as doubtful.

BORUSSIA MONCHENGLADBACH

When Borussia Monchengladbach losses the game, they lose hard. After suffering a 6:1 demolition by Dortmund at the end of the last month they now recorded a 5:1 loss at home against Bayer Leverkusen. There would be nothing peculiar if the team hasn’t stringed together two solid victories between these two defeats. The Foals are looking like the last year’s Schalke 04 team right now with all its unpredictability and sudden meltdowns but we hope that it won’t be the case.

They currently rank at No. 8 spot in the Bundesliga table with 14 points in nine games and a 4-2-3 record (1-2-1 on the road). Their goal difference is 13-17 (7-10 when visiting) and 75% of their road matches had over 3.5 goals per match while 56$ of their overall duels had over 2.5 goals in total. They’ve managed to concede at least one goal in every second road game while both teams scored in 56% of their total matchups.

Lars Stindl leads the team in scoring with three goals while Thorgan Hazard and Raffael have two each. Six players have collected one assists each so far (Stindl, Hazard, Elvedi, Wendt, Zakaria and Cuisance) while passing segment belongs to defender Matthias Ginter with 483 total passes. Goalies Yann Sommer and Tobias Sippel have 135 shots against, 25 saves and three clean-sheet games combined.

Laszlo Benes (broken foot) is expected to be back in mid December while Tobias Strobl (cruciate ligament) should be available in early February next year. Julio Villalba’s (finger) status is unknown while Cristoph Kramer (thigh) and Raul Marcelo Bobadilla (hip) are listed as day to day. Josip Drmic (knee) and Mamadou Doucoure (thigh) are back in training.

TSG Hoffenheim 1899 vs. Borussia Monchengladbach – Match Prediction

Monchengladbach remedied that awful performance in the league with a road win on Tuesday in DFB Pokal competition over Fortuna Dusseldorf while Hoffenheim suffered an unsuspecting loss against Werder on Wednesday meaning that this matchup can go either way and at the end of the day no one’s the wiser. Still, I would go here with Over 2.5 goals in total as my main pick.

My pick: Over 3 goals (-106)
