Golf Undigested Podcast – Episode 12

The Golf Undigested Podcast with Clark Burroughs, a former PGA Tour player and proud Ohio State Buckeye, dishes out his latest news and musings in the world of golf. Burroughs starts off podcast #12 by taking us through last week’s action. Hideki Matsuyama defeats Rickie Fowler in an epic 4-hole playoff to capture the Waste Management Phoenix Open and in the process moves to No. 12 in the latest world golf rankings. On the other side of the pond, Danny Willett held off Andy Sullivan and Rafa Cabrera-Bello to win the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. Willett moves from No. 19 to No. 13 in the world rankings and makes a statement as the top player in Europe, not named, Rory McIlroy!

Our host takes us through this week’s action on all the tour’s – PGA Tour stays on the West Coast and heads north to Pebble Beach, California for the 2016 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. Burroughs shares some funny stories about when he played in the tournament and Huey lewis was his partner. World No. 1 Jordan Spieth +550 gets back in action and is joined by Jason Day +850, Phil Mickelson +2200 and defending champoion Brandt Snedeker +1450.

Burroughs gives his predictions for the Champions Tour event Chubb Classic, as well as the European Tour event, Tshwane. Our host helps you set your fantasy team where he loves playersbthat have had success in the past at Pebble Beach; Phil Mickelson, Jimmy Walker and veterans Vijay Singh and Davis Love III.

Burroughs wraps up podcast #12 by taking us through his adventures on the golf course with his golfing buddies and discusses if “hole liners” are legal.
