Our host discusses the Open de France and Thongchai Jaidee’s eighth European Tour win.

Burroughs gives his bold predictions for this week’s Scottish Open on the European Tour. Our host helps you set your fantasy team with players to fade and players to ride. He discusses this week’s U.S. Womens Open Championship and gets you up to date with the latest news for next week’s Open Championship at Royal Troon.

One GO and one NO for the Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Open – European Tour –

GO: Branden Grace +1250 is one of the best players in the world. The South African has climbed to No. 10 in the Official World Golf Rankings and is on the rise. He tied for fifth at the U.S. Open and followed it up with a T10 last week at the WGC – Bridgestone Invitational where he was in the top five in GIR. He never seems to have a bad week. He’s finished in the top ten in his last five worldwide starts, lost in a playoff to Mickelson the last time the European Tour visited Castle Stuart in 2013 and is due for another win.

NO: Patrick Reed +2800 is a very OVERRATED player right now and surely not playing like the No. 11 ranked player in the world. He is hitting it so crooked that even his fantastic short game can’t save him, not for four days of competition. He continues to struggle and until he shows me a better all-around game, I’m OUT on REED!

Our host wraps up Podcast #31 by discussing the state of the upcoming Olympics and disses on those who have withdrawn; Aussies Adam Scott, Jason Day and Marc Leishman all are no go’s, the South African team is depleted due to the withdraws from there three top players, Branden Grace, Louis Oosthuizen and Charl Schwartzel and to make things worse, Rory McIlroy is not going to Brazil.
