Golf Undigested Podcast – The PGA Championship Edition

The Golf Undigested Podcast with Clark Burroughs, a former PGA Tour player and proud Ohio State Buckeye, dishes out his latest news and musings in the world of golf. For all the latest golf odds and predictions, never miss an episode of Burroughs’ insightful advice and hilarious observations into the greatest game of all, GOLF!

Burroughs starts off podcast #33 by taking us through last week’s action at the RBC Canadian Open where Jhonnatan Vegas picked up his second win on the PGA Tour by shooting a final round 64 to pass Brandt Snedeker and Dustin Johnson. On the Senior circuit, Peter Broadhurst picked up his first major championship by winning the Senior Open Championship.

Burroughs gives his bold predictions for this week’s PGA Championship and likes Steve Stricker at 100/1 and Sergio Garcia at 25/1.

One GO and one NO for the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP – PGA Tour –

GO: PHIL MICKELSON +2100

Lefty loves playing in the Metropolitan area and has great fan support there that usually he thrives on.

Mickelson came close at the Open Championship and seems to be on the verge of winning again. His

ball striking is much improved, his putting is back to form and his attitude is one of the best in the game.

The last time Baltusrol Golf Club hosted a major championship in 2005, Mickelson came out on top. He is worth a look in all formats.

NO: BUBBA WATSON +3200

Bubba does have two majors under his belt but only four top 10’s in his career. Both his wins came at The Masters and that’s half of his top ten finishes. He continues to struggle with his short game which is pivotal in most major championships. Watson is paired up against Matt Kuchar and Justin Rose in the weekly golf matchups and will again disappoint his fans and backers.

LONG SHOT SPECIAL

STEVE STRICKER +10000

Stricker is playing his best golf in years. His silky smooth putting stroke has returned and what a story it would be for the 49-year old to pick up his first major championship. The veteran offers bettors the best VALUE on the board.

Our host wraps up Podcast #33 by giving listeners a few tips on grip pressure and how important it is to take the club away slow instead of fast.
